Setting Up the HL-L2350DW on Windows
A straightforward, six-step walkthrough for getting your printer recognized and ready to print in Windows.
Confirm Your Windows Version
Check whether your computer runs Windows 11, 10, or 8.1, and whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit. Go to Settings → System → About to find this. Matching the correct version prevents setup errors later.
Connect the Printer
Power on the HL-L2350DW, then either plug in a USB cable for a direct connection, or connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network using its control panel network menu.
Get the Matching Driver Package
Using the compatibility table on the Driver Information page, identify the correct package for your exact Windows version and bit-type before continuing.
Run the Setup Wizard
Launch the setup wizard and follow the on-screen prompts. When asked, choose your connection type — USB or wireless — to match how the printer is connected.
Confirm the Printer Appears in Windows
Open Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners and confirm "Brother HL-L2350DW" is listed and set as ready.
Print a Test Page
From the printer's Properties window, select "Print a test page." A clean, correctly formatted printout confirms setup is complete.
